Hey everyone!
Today was sadly our last day together. We left Prague in the morning and made a lunch stop in beautiful Dresden - a city that was almost completely destroyed in World War Two. Fortunately they have done an amazing job reconstructing it, which we saw on our little tour..
After lunch we started the long trip to Copenhagen. We had a wonderful last dinner together on the ferry from Germany to Denmark. It was bittersweet - but thankfully we all know it is never goodbye, but always "Till next time!"

Day 19: Prague
Hey people!
We had an amazing day exploring beautiful Prague. We started the city tour in the morning and explored the old castle. It is on top of a hill so we walked through the gardens where there was the most fantastic view if the city.
On the way down from the castle we passed the Lennon wall and the students had the chance to write their own message on the wall.
After lunch we continued the tour and went to the old part of the city and also the jewish quarter - we learned a lot about the history of the Czech Republic and its people.
We spent the evening hanging out and relaxing with music and games. There were also quite a few people that watched the game between France and Germany ;-)

Day 16: Budapest - Vienna
Hello people!
We had a short travel day to Vienna today. Arrival was around lunch time. We went to supermarket and got lots of delicious food for a picnic in the gardens of Schönnbrunn. Apart from a few spiders it was a lovely lunch - it was sunny and warm :-)
Afterwards we walked through the gardens to the beautiful Schönnbrunn Castle that used to be a summer home for several royal families throughout time. We had a tour inside where we got to see 40 of the 1000 rooms. The rooms and the furniture were well-preserved, so one could almost imagine what it would be like to live there.
We had dinner at a typical Austrian restaurant - the plates of food were huge and the food was so good!
The best part was the enormous shared dessert plate!

Day 13: Venice
Hey everyone!
We started our day a bit early to go to amazing Venice! First stop was a walking tour through the city with a guide. We learned about the history of Venice and saw quite a few of all the bridges they have. The water had the most beautiful blue/green color and it was so idyllic and truly Italian with all the houses on the canals.
After lunch we went in the Gondolas and saw Venice from the water. It was quite fascinating how the men steering the gondolas managed to do so on so little space.
To end the day we went to the Murano Island where they make glas - we saw to kinds of methods.
At night it was time for more fun - we had a roof top dance and pool party!
Day 12: Lido di Jesolo

In the late afternoon we went to a mall to shop and eat gelato.
For dinner we had another four course Italian meal. There was also live music and it was Patricks birthday so of course he got a cake and everyone, including the other guests in the restaurant and the live band, sang happy birthday :-)
